ARTIST BIO
Nay Designs is owned and run by Renée Gardner. Renée grew up in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia. As a young child she was always finding ways to use her hands to be creative. After graduating high school Renée attended OTIS College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. She received a Bachlor Degree of Fine Arts with a major in Toy Design and a minor in Fashion Design. She spent 8 years working in Los Angeles as a Toy Designer, Packaging Designer, Graphic Designer, and Art Director. During this time Renée started taking jewelry design / metalsmithing, painting, stained glass, and photography classes at a local community college. Soon after she was ready to get more hands on and creative and decided to get out from behind the computer and into her home studio to start her own businesses. In 2006 Renée moved from Los Angeles to Bisbee Arizona where she started the Old Bisbee Ghost Tour, Tombstone Ghost Tour, and Tucson Ghost Tour as well as being a freelance graphic designer, and metalsmith. She also makes hair accessories and purses made from old recycled records. Renée resides in Bisbee Arizona with her menagerie of pets. Copyright 2010 Nay Designs
